ππ³π²π³FROM dandelions to daisies, buttercups to cow parsley, sticks to leaves, blossom to bluebells, forget me nots to ground ivy, feathers to stones at School we have enjoyed some Spring walks recently looking to see what we can SPOT finding LOTS of different colours and textures on our journey πΈ ONLY picking what we needed and ensuring there was plenty left πΉπΈππ²π³
πΈπΉππ²π³We are very lucky to have such beautiful grounds and played a senses game, SOME made birds nests from grass cuttings AND some created a colour sorting wheel with our finds – the photo is just to show YOU what this looks like (from my garden) and any leaves/ petals/ other treasures picked can be put to good use with sorting and matching games, measuring sticks (how many leaves is that? π) sequencing, printing and making crowns – taking maths outside ππ³π²
π³π²π³LOOKING forward to playing our worm πͺ± and birds nest game later in the week with a belated NOD to May Day with some ribbon and stick possibilities and whatever else we get up to ππ³π²
