Unfortunately Nature Noodles is NOT running this morning due to the forecast and gust speed.  We have a lot of dead wood and crack Willow at the site.  Safety come first. 🌿💨🌿

🌿A less blustery session for the FRIDAY FOXES this morning …. mostly spent digging up grubs, worms and centipedes (all safely returned), having some exploring adventures and trying to make tin can pancakes …. LOVELY to see you all, have a wonderful weekend and see you next week 😊🌿.

🌿💨IT was windy in the WILLOWS this morning giving us the chance to play with out tarps and create sails and dens, play with mud and water in the more sheltered part of the site, make ribbon sticks and have our NEW story before finishing up with a scattering of seeds.🌿

BIG thanks to those who braved the wind chill 💨.

🌿TOMORROW is the FRIDAY FOXES and it’s lookimg less breezy …. Iam thinking of making some mini tin can pancakes and charming some worms.🌿

🌿🌿THERE is a LOT that goes on BEFORE a Forest School session …. checking the weather, keeping equipment in good working order, planning activity possibilities, drying out gear, packing up gear and trying things out first.🌿🌿

Looking forward to embracing the rain and mud tomorrow WITH camouflage hide and seek, mud castles & moats, crafty bits n sticks, den building AND trying to make our own mini pancakes as activity possibilities this week building on our love of the MUD.🌿

🌿A busy morning blowing bubbles and playing with parachutes in the wind, some playing with mud, exploring, hide n seek, hanging out in hammocks, Go Find It! and boat making. Phew! 😊🌿

THIS week Thursday’s Nature Noodles were looking for some signs of (false!) Spring, climbing and exploring, some Bog Baby stories, MUD and some bow saw work ….. the FRIDAY FOXES spent the morning exploring the site and seeing what we could find for our Bog Baby …. SOME charcoal drawing & exploring, worm watching, mud, clay, tools AND a chance to meet the lovely Maria Cooke who is going to be joining us for some Thursday and Friday fun!🌿

🌿A BEAUTIFUL end to a beautiful couple of days with a busy morning following the  magic stones, making dens and mud, tools and fire and a MAGICAL afternoon with magic stones leading us to the forest folk, making fairy homes, swings and slides, mud pies for the Bog Baby and bubbles with willow wands.🌿

🌿THANK you to everyone who has been …. Easter sessions will be posted nearer the time.  NEXT week Thursdays NATURE NOODLES and the FRIDAY FOXES start back up with the Monday OUTDOOR LEARNING session the week after.🌿

I’ll admit that I was a BIT anxious running sessions BACK to BACK but I had an amazing day and hope that you ALL did too … 🌿

🌿LOOKING forward to tomorrow …. PLEASE dress appropriately and bring whatever drinks and snacks you may need.   I am providing pitta and houmous for the morning snack and we will cook flat bread in the afternoon.🌿

was the LAST Thursday of the block and it was a BEAUTIFUL session with LOTS of sunshine, mud and tools …. I think WE all had a mindful moment when looking at the SUN filtering through the trees ☀️.

WE have had a great block – a huge thank you to everyone who has come along to the sessions this term and experienced the frost, cold temperatures, sunny days, windy days and wet days … though I brought the water!  TOMORROW is the last FRIDAY FOXES of the block and Iam looking forward to some MORE sunshine 🌞 🌿🍃🌿.

AFTER February half term there will be a price increase to cover resources/ costs AND block booking and pre-payment please so that new equipment can be purchased.
