🌿🌿WOW! What a super busy dynamic session we had this morning!  Lovely to see lots of new & familiar faces coming out for some Summer Outdoor Fun.  TRYING to introduce some Forest School concepts with sensory activities/ play; tracking games, camouflage hide n seek, some basic tool work along with bug pots, fire, rope swings and climbing on the slack line.🌿🌿

🌿🌿THE September sessions will start back up the week beginning Monday 9th and all session blocks & times will be advertised shortly.  Please note that these will now all be afternoon sessions running either 1.30-3pm or 2-4pm.  Pre-booking will be required as the session sizes will be capped 💚🌿🌿

🌿🌿THE dates and times for September sessions will be confirmed over the next week or two ….. 🌿🌿

🌿🌿A radio interview today with BBC Radio Northampton about the storytelling chair being vandalised, again.  We talked about the community, social responsibility & needing more volunteers.  IF you or anyone You know would like to volunteer and get involved with the sessions and/ or site maintenance please send me a message. 💚🌿🌿

🌿🌿A lovely sunny Outdoor Summer Session this afternoon …. butterfly spotting, slack line walking, some craft & drawing, climbing & exploring, playing & sharing, some knife work, fire & food ☀️🌿🌿

🌿🌿I will shortly be putting together my session dates FROM September…. things have CHANGED a bit for me.  AS some of YOU know, I have been doubling up as a childminder.  IT has been a tough decision BUT after 8 years childminding I am finishing at the end of August to work as part of the nurture team in my local primary school.  THERE will still be sessions running BUT the times and days will change with ALL sessions now running in the afternoons rather than mornings.🌿🌿

THANK you for bearing with me today as I was feeling under the weather AND also a big thanks for helping tidy up the wood from the damaged storytelling chair and surrounding rubbish.  SO sad that the chair has been damaged so aggressively again 😔🌿🌿

🌿FOR the last Monday Outdoor Learning Session until September we had fun playing a water pistol tracking game, playing on the slack line, hiding and exploring, some den building, fire making and butter knife whittling 💚🌿🌿

 

 

🌿ENJOYING a very wet Friday Foxes 🦊 celebrating the end of the block by getting a fire going in ALL that rain and roasting crumpets 😋. WE also made dens, played on the slack line and made stick dens for the woodland animals🌿🌿

💚🌿A lovely last Nature Noodles of the block, lots of slack line balancing action, playing with animals, den building, making a fire & having marshmallows 😘😋🌿🌿

🌿🌿NATURE NOODLES will be back in September- I am taking a little break with just a FEW Summer Sessions – an event will be created tomorrow- and gearing up for some CHANGES in our Noodle family 🌿🌿

🌿🌿THANK you ALL for coming, children, parents/ carers, childminders braving a LOT of different weather, exploring the elements and the outdoors with a BIG focus on butterflies 🦋 this block and mud, LOTS of mud 😊🌿🌿

🌿🌿A lovely day for a party!  I had a GREAT time playing with potions and clay, some barefoot walking, looking for sneezy  the dragon, potions play and some singing!! A lovely party with lovely people, so great to lead 😊🎈🎈🌿🌿

🎈🎈WASHING down the chalkboard AND bagging up the bunting for another Nature Noodles birthday party this weekend.  It’s NOT something which I tend to advertise (but let’s face it, I hardly advertise ANYTHING!) BUT the Noodles parties are becoming more popular AND last weekend was my first Noodles party in someone’s garden- great fun with great children 😊🎈🎈
