🌿🌿MAKING our mysterious creatures, splashing in puddles, climbing through the undergrowth & fungi 🍄 spotting today at Nature Noodles 💚🌿🌿

🌿ANOTHER lovely session where we managed to escape the rain 🌧…. the site is SUPER flooded but we had fun collecting leaves and snail 🐌 & slug spotting, having an explore, some tool wok and Woodland Sprite making to finish off with a play in the water, a fire and crumpets 😋🌿🌿

🌿🌿The rain STOPPED for our Nature Noodles fun this afternoon …. looking at leaf colour 🍁 🍂 🍃 and making story sticks, throwing leaves in the air, climbing & exploring through the site.  WE cut some Elder to make our Woodland Sprites, played on the slackline and ate crumpets …. we ALSO splashed in puddles!!🌿🌿

🌿🌿THERE are sessions running on:

Monday 28th October 10-12pm AND Tuesday 29th October 10-12pm.🌿🌿

🍁AN Autumnal session aimed at (but not limited to) children aged 3 years upwards. COME together for baked apples, den building & some leaf threading🍁

🌿🌿THE last Friday Foxes 🦊 session for a title while … I am taking a WELLBEING and PLANNING break 😊💚😊.  THE next block starts back up on Friday 15th November which seems like oodles away but will soon come whizzing round.  THERE are some October half term sessions on the 28th & 29th October.😊🌿🌿

🌿🌿TODAY was more wet play with our puddle sticks testing depth of water as we made our way through the site stopping to EXPLORE every puddle and fungi along the way.  SOME made boats and others just splashed, poured & explored our flooded site.  A quick warm up by the fire being the perfect way to end the day 😊🌿🌿

🌿🌿💚THANK you for the mums, friends, grandparents and carers who have come along to Nature Noodles this block 🐿🦊🐇.  There are NO more Nature Noodles sessions now until Thursday 14th November.  THIS has been a smaller group than usual and there are spaces for the next term.  There will be six weeks in the block and I will be asking for block bookings & Pre payment please so I know who to expect 😊.  THE ethos of Forest School is at least 6 weeks continual visits to the same spot and our sessions are designed around the children’s interests and at the end of each session WE choose the following weeks activity possibilities using current interests, Seasons & what is around us.  IF you would like any further information please message me 💚🌿🌿.

🌿🌿THIS term we have looked at WHO may be living in our site, met the trees, played potions, on slack lines and in the hammocks.  WE have read books, made bog babies, bubble pipes and Elder pencils using tools and enjoyed food on the fire.😊🌿🌿. MOSTLY though we have just played and enjoyed being outdoors together 💚.

🌿🌿TODAY we explored our flooded site using puddle sticks, played with the water, made big splashes, looked at shadows and warmed up by the fire 😊🌿🌿

🌿🌿THERE will be NO Friday Foxes 🦊 running this afternoon due to the high winds & gusts forecast.  IT would not be safe to play in the woods.🌿🌿

🌿🌿SOME tools and bog baby with our session today: starting off with preparing our marshmallow sticks, having our story and collecting materials for our own bog babies.  WE enjoyed a quiet moment by the bog bird watching and THEN some clay crafting before we finished off with Elder pencils 💚😊🌿🌿

🌿🌿FOR the Friday Foxes 🦊 hopefully you all received my weather warning message re tomorrow: the wind speeds look like they are picking up with gusts 💨 and rain ☔️ forecast.  If it is unsafe to run the session I will send a message round & post on here.🌿🌿

🌿THANK you to everyone who came along today to the first Nature Noodles session at Boughton Pocket Park this afternoon 💚😊. WE looked at WHO may live there, found animals and LOTS of rabbit holes (and poo!), USED clay to make prints, COLLECTED sticks n leaves: some made fairy houses, some made animal dens and then we LOOKED at the trees around us using Elder and Willow to make bubble pipes & wands 💚🌿🌿

🌿🌿IN November we will be having potions fun, looking at our leaf colour changes and anything else we can come up with 🍁 🍂 🍃 🌿🌿

🌿A lovely Friday Foxes 🦊 meeting a tree & looking for animals.  WE made some dens, played hide n seek, messed around in the mud and had bananas & chocolate for snack AND some of us made Elder pencils💚🌿
