🌿🌿TYING ourselves into knots this afternoon …. practicing the Clove Hitch, Figure of 8, Timber/ Killick Hitch and the Round Turn and two half hitches.  I shall post photos … though I use Animated Knots when stuck/ for reference🌿🌿

🌿🌿NOTE: in order that I don’t create any illusions of some kind of fluffy Swallows & Amazon’s type existence going on here please note that 2 of my daughters weren’t the slightest bit interested and the remaining one got so frustrated I thought she was going to impale me.  They also seem to feel the same way about doing anything remotely school work related.  The answer: be kind to yourself ❤️🌿🌿

🌿🌿JUST a tantalising tease to the times ahead …. look at my new beautiful site at Top Ardle Wood, Ravensthorpe.  It’s taken over a year back and forth and now I just need to return the Agreement.  IT may feel like a long way out of reach at the moment BUT if we all keep safe it’ll hopefully happen even sooner💚🌿🌿

🌿🌿ITS been lovely to hear from YOU over the last week or so …. I miss seeing everyone, some of us have been on a real journey.  I send love and hope that you are all keeping well and safe.  HOPEFULLY we can have a woodland party in the Summer or September.  Love to all 💚🌿🌿

🌿🌿OFF out for a socially distancing walk today … going back to one of our favourite places OFF the beaten track.  REMINDED me of conversations at Forest School about the age of my children and how I felt they had spent TOO much time outside that now they rejected it … happy to say that I was wrong.  EVEN got some natural art participation.  WHATS the saying … you can take the school out of the child BUT you can’t take the Forest School out of them (yep – totally made that up!) 😊😊💚🌿🌿

🌿🌿FOR those self isolating with garden access, this is a lovely idea … frame making & story telling with what you have around you🌿🌿

🌿🌿I’m NO willow weaving expert BUT I like to have a go …. I cut some green stems over the weekend and made these into circles for a dream catcher idea, though they make great bubble wands too as does some bendy ivy.  WE wound round some wool and added beads, you could obviously add whatever you liked.  Kept my lot entertained for a good hour 😊💚🌿🌿
