WE braved the weather today and were really lucky … we had the chance to check our reptile mats – the largest thing we found was a snail, make balsa boats using mini hack saws and knives, seeing which boats worked and investigating the stream before having a fire and soup. ย A beautiful morning ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฟ.
ALL session dates for the next term will be confirmed shortly. ย THIS THURSDAY is the last Nature Noodles of the block and this FRIDAY is WOODLAND RHYMETIME. ๐ฟ๐๐ฟ๐๐
LOOKING forward to lots of Autumnal adventures in the next block ๐๐

A lovely first session of the Nature Noodles 5 week block – great to see old and new faces having fun in the outdoors, hiding, exploring, some messy play and digging.
Lots of fun had on our Monday session yesterday … collecting seeds and berries, playing with the new trolley and making bows and arrows.
These are sessions for older children, suitable roughly for ages 5-10yrs old – though older and younger siblings are very welcome too. ย During these sessions we will be exploring the world around us, going on nature walks, exploring meadows and stream studies, building boats, seeing what floats, looking at depth and working out the height of trees. ย Looking at temperature and weather watching with some fire and tool use thrown in.
